Dominant Performance by Tabuchi in Asheville Win
|
The Asheville Tourists got a stellar performance from pitcher Tabito Tabuchi, who handcuffed the Greenville offense en route to a win, 2-0, at Fluor Field at the West End. The Tourists raised their record to 13-12.
Tabuchi made it look effortless. He scattered 4 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 12 strikeouts. The Asheville right-hander encountered little resistance from the Greenville hitters. His season record is now 3-1.
In comments to the Asheville Gazette, Tabuchi insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
