Greenville Drive starter Randy Churchill turned in an exceptional performance against the Asheville Tourists at Fluor Field at the West End, resulting in a Greenville win, 3-2. The win has Greenville at 10-18.

Greenville grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Roger Cathey delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 3-2 in favor of the Drive.

"Tough loss," said Asheville manager Orlando Lopez. "But we'll learn from it."
