The Bowling Green Hot Rods beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 13-4, at Bowling Green Ballpark. Bowling Green first baseman David De Los Santos led the way. He was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Jack Andrews earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. The 7th-place Hot Rods lifted their record to 14-15.

Travis Scott had a big 2-run double for the Hot Rods in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Bowling Green leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from 22-year old left-handed pitcher Sheldon Vu and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Hot Rods ahead, 4-0.

"We didn't pitch good, and when you don't pitch good, you lose," said Greensboro manager Justin Maurer.
