|
Hagerstown starter Alfredo Rocha had a strong outing against the Greensboro Grasshoppers at Ballpark of Hagerstown. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. Rocha, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 4, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. At 26-4, the Suns claim first place in the South Atlantic League Northwest Division.
Kristopher Dedeaux hit a 2-run double off Mark Parker in the bottom of the second, which put the Suns in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Dedeaux had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 2.
