Delmarva Shorebirds starter Cameron Rodriguez turned in a top-notch performance against the West Virginia Power at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. The result was a win for the Shorebirds, 5-2. Samuel Carley wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. The Shorebirds have now won 4 straight.

The Shorebirds got a big at-bat from designated hitter Velo Arroyo. For the game, Arroyo was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Delmarva a 3-1 lead.
