Fireflies Take Nail-Biter Over Drive
The Columbia Fireflies took Greenville pitcher Jayden Barsh's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Spirit Communications Park. The final score had Columbia getting past the Drive, 1-0. Barsh went 9 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 10. After today's action, Columbia sits at 14-20, while Greenville falls to 16-18.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 11th inning, when Columbia designated hitter Georgie Moody, facing Tom Douglas, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Fireflies the 1-0 win.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Moody.
