Legends Lose Again, 3-1, to Catfish
|
In a well-pitched game between the Columbus Catfish and the Lexington Legends, pitcher Randall Futch was superb. The Columbus right-hander helped his team win, 3-1. Lexington now has a 6-game losing streak.
Making an impact for the home team was Mitch McGrath. In the bottom of the fourth, the 23-year old center fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Catfish.
"Not to be Captain Obvious," said Lexington manager Curtis Bishop, "but we need to push more runs across the plate."
