Dominant Performance by Northbridge in Bowling Green Win
|
Anthony Northbridge was on the winning side of a pitcher's duel at Bowling Green Ballpark. In fact, the Bowling Green Hot Rods right-hander was instrumental in his team's 3-0 victory over the Columbia Fireflies. Sean Anderson closed it out for Bowling Green, earning his 5th save. Today's win puts Bowling Green at 21-28, while Columbia falls to 26-23.
Northbridge picked up the win. He's now 3-2, after putting the Columbia offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
"It's a mindset," said Northbridge. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
