The Greenville Drive trumped the West Virginia Power, 4-3, in 10 innings. Greenville third baseman J.J. Mendez was impactful. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Drive improved their record to 22-30 with the win over West Virginia.

Mendez had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a first pitch fastball from Marco Ontiveros, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Drive a 4-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Mendez.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Greenville manager E.J. Boggan.
