Loss to Braves Extends Greenville Losing Streak
The Rome Braves thumped the Greenville Drive, 10-1, at Fluor Field at the West End. Solomon Vitucci was a big reason his team got the win. Vitucci went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Liam Bicknell, 2-2, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3.2 innings. The losses continue to pile up for Greenville, which has now fallen 15 times in a row.

Vitucci hit a run-scoring double in the top of the third to help the Rome cause. The double, which was hit off Randy Churchill, allowed Rome to take a 1-0 lead.

"Good pitching and timely hitting is a recipe for success," said Vitucci.
