RiverDogs Hand Columbus 4-0 Loss
|
The Charleston RiverDogs picked up a win at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park, taking down the Columbus Catfish, 4-0. Starting pitcher Kyle Kison was a big reason why. The defeat makes Columbus 21-32.
The RiverDogs got a big at-bat from first baseman Clay Carmona. For the game, Carmona went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 13th double of the season gave Charleston a 2-0 lead.
Said Columbus manager Francisco Avalos: "They pitched the heck out of us."
