West Virginia pitcher Patrick Park did his part in helping his team beat the Columbia Fireflies, 4-2. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The 4th-place Power hiked their record to 30-27.

West Virginia used a clutch at-bat from Gianluca Tonetti to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Power ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Power manager Israel Cantwell.
