Braves, Hoffman Deal Catfish 2-0 Setback
|
Ace Hoffman was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Rome and Columbus. The Braves left-hander helped his team beat the Catfish, 2-0. The Braves improve their record to 33-29 with the win over Columbus.
Hoffman allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. He also racked up 7 strikeouts.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Rome manager Jake Lappin.
