The West Virginia Power defeated the Columbus Catfish, 4-2, at Appalachian Power Park. Leading the charge for West Virginia was first baseman Giovanni Urias. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. West Virginia pitcher Chris Unrue got the win. He's now 8-2. Yangency Bennett was tagged with the loss. Cameron Passe sewed up the save, his 2nd.

Urias had a timely hit for West Virginia in the bottom of the sixth. With West Virginia trailing 2-1, he turned a 0-2 screwball into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 3-2, West Virginia.

"We did enough to win," said Urias.

With the win, West Virginia raised its record to 33-31.
