Chilcote Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bananas
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

The Savannah Bananas defeated the Greenville Drive in 12 innings, 6-5, in part because of first baseman Trent Manning. Manning was 5 for 6 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 2 singles for the Bananas. Savannah is now 39-27, Greenville 30-36.

Savannah got a knockout punch from Garrett Chilcote. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Manning said.
