Gregory Lifts RiverDogs to 6-4 Triumph

The Charleston RiverDogs beat the Delmarva Shorebirds, 6-4, at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park. Charleston designated hitter Lionel Gregory collected 3 singles and 1 double, while driving in 3 runs. Charleston reliever Vincent Neal picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Don Kjaerluff took the loss. Omar Domínguez collected his 7th save.
The RiverDogs got a big at-bat from second baseman Dylan Hockersmith. For the game, Hockersmith was 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Charleston a 4-2 lead.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Gregory said.
Charleston is now 35-33.
