The Hagerstown Suns picked up a win at Lake Olmstead Stadium, knocking off the Lakewood BlueClaws, 6-3. Starting pitcher Yoyo Ramos was a big reason why. Kyle Tarver was called on to finish, recording his 18th save. The South Atlantic League Northwest Division-leading Suns have a record of 52-19.

Hagerstown used a clutch hit from Tye Blake to get the win. The first baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Suns ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like our moxie," said Suns manager Adam Reid.
