The West Virginia Power defeated the Columbia Fireflies, 6-5, at Appalachian Power Park. Ralph Roland produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Cameron Passe collected his 4th save. The 6th-place Power are 35-34.

Roland had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch slider from Finnegan Murphy, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Power a 4-3 lead. It was the 1st double of the year for Roland.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Columbia manager Gunner Litherland. "But we decided not to take it."
