Leigh Leads Tourists to 9-2 Win Over Grasshoppers
The timely hitting of Jarron Leigh helped the Asheville Tourists down the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 9-2. Leigh was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Tourists. Picking up the win was Karson Burroughs. He went 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits. The right--hander struck out 3 and walked 4. Asheville currently is in 7th place in the South Atlantic League Carolina Division at 36-36.

In the top of the second, with a runner on 2nd, Leigh came to the plate. He hit a run-scoring single off Nolan Parks to put the Tourists in the lead, 2-1.
