Coss 3-4 to Power Shorebirds Offense

Behind a fine performance from Milt Coss, the Delmarva Shorebirds knocked off the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 9-4. Coss went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for the Shorebirds. Dylan Lundrigan earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. His record is now 5-1. The Shorebirds have a winning streak of 9 games.
Delmarva needed the clutch hitting of Neil Clifton to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Shorebirds on top, 8-3. For the game, Clifton had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
