Hickory Loses, 4-2, in 10

The Kannapolis Intimidators cut down the Hickory Crawdads by the score of 4-2 in 10 innings. Much of the credit went to third baseman Robert Burton. Burton slugged 2 home runs for the Intimidators. William Debarros, who is tied for 3rd in the SAL in saves with 21, earned the save for Kannapolis. The 4th-place Intimidators improved to 53-37.
Burton had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-0 changeup from Jaime Green, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Intimidators a 3-2 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Burton.
"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Burton.
