The home squad pulled out a thrilling walk-off win.

The Hickory Crawdads defeated the Hagerstown Suns, 4-3, in South Atlantic League action at L.P. Frans Stadium. Hickory pitcher Bentley Brown had a standout performance. The win went to Bart Widdows in relief, making him now 1-2. Hunter Chamberlain took the loss for Hagerstown.

The decisive blow was delivered by Troy Skinner in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 24-year old right-handed pitcher Hunter Chamberlain to win the game for Hickory. The home crowd went nuts.

"This wasn't a good win," said Skinner. "It was a great win."

The loss makes Hagerstown 45-48.
