Jonesboro starter Tyler Bennett kept the Lakewood offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 15-1. Jonesboro now owns a record of 42-51.

The game could have flipped with one out in the top of the fourth. But Tyler Bennett made what his manager later called "an A-plus pitch." With the bases loaded and Lakewood trailing 11-1, Bennett threw a fastball to Merlin Muramoto and Muramoto hit into a double play.
