Tourists Stick Drive with 8-1 Loss
|
Asheville Tourists starter Noah Monteroso pitched his team past the Greenville Drive, 8-1. The loss makes Greenville 25-69.
The Tourists got an important contribution from left fielder Madaleno Solano, who in the bottom of the fourth punched a 0-2 cutter into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 15th double of the season and put the Tourists ahead, 5-0.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Solano.
