Floundering Rays Lose 7th Straight
The Indianapolis Ignition grabbed a win, 7-6, over the Tampa Bay Rays at PepsiCo Park. Indianapolis third baseman Josiah Spiegel went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 times. The Rays, 9-9, continue their so-so start to the 2069 season.

Ryan May hit a run-scoring double off Wilson Richardson in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Ignition in front, 7-6. In addition to the double, May had 1 single, while going 2 for 5.

"We certainly don't want to get used to losing," said losing manager A.J. Trentman.
