Hartman Lifts Emeralds to 7-3 Triumph
|
The Eugene Emeralds reigned over the Spokane Indians in damp conditions.
The Eugene Emeralds beat the Spokane Indians, 7-3, at Avista Stadium. Ronnie Hartman, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The win puts Eugene at 1-1.
Hartman got the Emeralds off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Hartman. "I think we showed that here."
