Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Niagara Falls Rapids and Redmond Rattlers.

The Niagara Falls Rapids beat the Redmond Rattlers, 3-2. Niagara Falls pitcher and Ankeny, Iowa, native Nicola Fontana led the way. With the loss, Redmond sinks to 1-2.

Fontana, the winner, is now 1-0 after putting the clamps on the Redmond offense. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 4 hits, while collecting 8 Ks.
