The Hamilton Red Wings beat the Niagara Falls Rapids by a score of 7-5. Hamilton first baseman José Toto deserved the lion's share of the credit. Toto was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Red Wings. The win gives the Red Wings a record of 6-3.

With Hamilton trailing 3-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Toto hit a fastball from Joss Kilbourne for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Red Wings ahead, 4-3.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Toto told the Hamilton Today.
