At Big Slick's House of Hardball, the Las Vegas Knights and Detroit Tigers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Starting pitcher Josh Gallick pitched well enough to help the Detroit Tigers beat the Las Vegas Knights, 7-3. Las Vegas is 7-12 after the defeat.

Elton Briggs was 2-5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Detroit. The 31-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring single off Nathan Ampey. It was his 21st hit of the season.
