Jammers Take Down Tigers, 5-3

Jamestown starter Stuart Wade pitched well against the Connecticut Tigers at Jammers Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. In 5 innings, Wade surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. Picking up the save was Henry Messinger, his 3rd.
Noah Quick dealt the Tigers a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Jamestown trailing 3-2, Quick hit a full count fastball for a 2-run single.
