5-Hit Blitz by Holder
It was a downpour of hits for Zachary Holder at Centennial Field.

The Vermont Lake Monsters right fielder tore into State College for 5 hits in 6 at-bats to pace the Lake Monsters to a rain-delayed 13-1 victory. State College manager Bobby Spencer bemoaned his pitching, speculating his club got flustered by Holder's big day.

"He was beating us and we stopped locating well," he said. "That makes you get behind in the count and you can't do that when a guy is hot like Holder was today. Not to take anything away from him, but bad location was the story of the ballgame."

Zachary Holder singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.

This season, Holder is batting .423 with 22 hits, no home runs, 6 RBIs, 2 walks, .464 OBP and has scored 11 runs. He has played in 12 games.
