Youngstown pitcher Alfredo Olmedo had a large part in his team subduing the Lowell Spinners, 3-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Luke Maher picked up his 2nd save of the season. With the loss, Lowell sinks to 4-9.

Colton Jennings had a direct impact on the outcome. Jennings contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the second inning to put Youngstown up, 1-0.
