Medford Sunk by Staten Island, 4-1
|
Seth Dickie never let the Flying Tigers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his sinker, to pitch the Pizza Rats to a win, 4-1. With the win, Staten Island boosts its record to 3-4.
Making an impact for the home team was Quigley McCage. In the bottom of the fifth, the 22-year old shortstop had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 2-0, Pizza Rats.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said McCage.
