Cyclones Win, 5-3, Extend Hot Streak
|
Wenatchee got a terrific game from third baseman Nick Bourgeau. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Brooklyn, 5-3. Bourgeau was 2 for 4 with a double and a walk. Tillman Robinson collected save number 4. The loss makes Wenatchee 4-4.
Ethan Wykle, the 19-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Wykle contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Brooklyn up, 5-2.
"It's good to win," Wykle told the Brooklyn Citizen. "I like to have fun doing it."
