Milton Sigrist was a major factor in the 9-6 State College win over Aberdeen. The Spikes center fielder went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Ricardo Garduno earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. State College is first in the New York-Penn League South Division with a record of 13-5.

With State College leading 4-2 in the top of the sixth, Sigrist hit a 2-run single off Aberdeen hurler Nathan Chapman. It was the 23rd hit of the season for Sigrist and put his team ahead, 6-2.
