Hawks Handed 6-1 Loss by Everett
|
Alex Carter pitched a gem to lead Everett to victory over the Boise Hawks, 6-1. Now 3-7, the Hawks have not played well this season.
The AquaSox got an important contribution from right fielder Stewie Woods, who in the bottom of the second punched a 0-2 slider into right for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the AquaSox ahead, 4-0.
Woods said his team "played with focus."
