Ironbirds Handle Oilers, Grab 9-1 Win
Aberdeen Ironbirds starter Ignacio Frazier kept the Oil City Oilers hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 9-1 win. Alvaro Barragan locked down his 1st save. The Ironbirds saw their win-loss record go to 4-22. At the same time, the Oilers fell to 13-13.

The Ironbirds got a big hit from designated hitter Mark Gonzales. Facing Oil City pitcher Jacob Dillard in the bottom of the seventh, Gonzales pounded a 2-run double to center. His 5th double of the season put the Ironbirds ahead, 4-1.

"It was a good win," said Aberdeen manager . "Not without blemish, but good."
