In a low-scoring affair between the Niagara Falls Rapids and the Staten Island Pizza Rats, pitcher Logan Miller was the difference between victory and defeat. The Niagara Falls left-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Rapids win. The winner was Miller. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Lucas Fitch. Niagara Falls, with the win, climbs to 8-17.

Niagara Falls took a 3-2 lead on Ian Guatemala's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Guatemala hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Staten Island pitcher Ewan Walden visibly frustrated.

"Logan's as tough as he is talented," said Niagara Falls manager Josh Reeder.
