Red Wings Snatch 3-2 Win
|
In a low-scoring clash between Hamilton and Jamestown, pitcher Charles Ouellet was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned praise for his performance in the 3-2 Red Wings win. Graham Leonard earned save number 1 this season. With the win, Hamilton raised its record to 14-11.
Tito Vidrio had a critical at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Hamilton. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Hamilton in front, 3-1.
"It'd be nice to win by four or five runs," Vidrio said, "instead of holding our breath the whole game."
