Lee, Spikes March to 8-2 Victory
The State College Spikes welcomed the West Virginia Black Bears to an afternoon game at Dutchess Stadium.

The State College Spikes bumped off the West Virginia Black Bears, 8-2, at Dutchess Stadium. Damian Lee hit 2 singles and 1 double. He also had 4 RBI. State College has an impressive 18-9 record.

With State College leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Lee hit a 2-run single off West Virginia hurler Hunter Geiger. It was the 19th hit of the season for Lee and put his team ahead, 3-0.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said State College skipper Bobby Spencer.
