The Gold Beach Sea Unicorns got a magnificent effort from pitcher Ryder Braunschweig, who kept Wenatchee hitters in check en route to a 2-0 Sea Unicorns win at Redding Grounds. The Sea Unicorns have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 13 games.

The Sea Unicorns got a big at-bat from shortstop Matthew Allala. For the game, Allala was 4 for 4 with a double and 3 singles. In the bottom of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Gold Beach a 1-0 lead.

"I liked our effort," said Sea Unicorns manager Mike McEvoy.
