5-2 Loss to Doubledays Extends New Westminster Losing Streak
The New Westminster Cavalry extended their losing streak with a loss to the Auburn Doubledays.

The Auburn Doubledays beat the New Westminster Cavalry, 5-2, at Falcon Park. Scott Lungu, in particular, was impressive. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. This loss makes it 8 in a row for New Westminster.

Balthasar McKenzie drew 1 walk in his only trip to the plate for Auburn. The 21-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Reuben Binstead. It was his 1st walk of the season.

"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said McKenzie.
