Volcanoes Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Tri-City ValleyCats and Salem-Keizer Volcanoes.

Charles Burrelli had a hand in Tri-City defeating Salem-Keizer by the score of 8-7. Burrelli went 3 for 5 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 3 runs. The ValleyCats saw their win-loss record go to 8-8. At the same time, the Volcanoes fell to 9-7.

Tri-City used a timely hit from Wayde Romulus to get the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the ValleyCats ahead, 8-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

Burrelli told a Tri-City Bulletin reporter that he was "very satisfied" with the win.
