The Youngstown Gremlins beat the Maine Lobsters, 8-4. Youngstown pitcher and Gallup, New Mexico, native Noah Giese led the way. Biff Zantow, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1 innings. The loss makes Maine 25-7.

Youngstown took control in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Adam Blevins hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Gremlins.

"Pleased with the effort and the win," said Gremlins manager Brandon Haviland.
