Gibson Stars as Red Wings Top Oilers, 8-2

The Hamilton Red Wings and Oil City Oilers completed their game despite the rain.
Red Wings second baseman Levi Gibson left his imprint on his team's 8-2 win over the Oil City Oilers. Gibson went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Hamilton in the contest. With the win over Oil City, the Red Wings improved to 22-14.
Third Baseman Mike Gates made an impact for Hamilton, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Jimmy Fujieda in the bottom of the fourth. For the contest, Gates was 2-4 with a double.
"They took it to us," said Oil City manager Zeke Butler.
