|
Maine Lobsters starter A.J. Scheuber pitched effectively against the Niagara Falls Rapids at Portland Ballpark. The right-hander spearheaded his team's 4-3 win. By defeating Niagara Falls, the first-place Lobsters improved to 29-8.
Kevin Logan chipped in a 3-run home run for Maine in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
Niagara Falls manager Josh Reeder said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
