Tigers Show Moxy in 6-5 Win
The Tigers grabbed a win, 6-5, at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from West Virginia pitcher Luca Hudnell. Hudnell went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Connecticut is now 17-19. West Virginia is 22-14.

Kenny Trail was the walk-off hero for Connecticut. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Tigers third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Trail.
