Marauders Reel-In 6-2 Win Over Tigers
|
Kennewick Marauders pitcher Collins Pierre whisked his team past the Connecticut Tigers, 6-2. Kennewick, at 15-4, occupies first place in the Northwest League North Division.
Kennewick used a well-timed hit by Jordan Clark to capture the win. The right fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the second inning to put the Marauders ahead, 5-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Pierre.
