3-0 Loss to ValleyCats Extends Lowell Losing Streak
|
Rhett Arnow pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Lowell Spinners, despite Arnow's fine outing, dropped a 3-0 decision to the Tri-City ValleyCats at Edward A. LeLacheur Park. Noah Marshall earned the save for Tri-City, his 1st of the year. The Spinners have now dropped 8 straight.
Tri-City used the bat of Tyson Schlak to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the ValleyCats ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.
"The vibe's good," said Tri-City manager Jason McTaggart. "We've got to keep it going."
