Sea Unicorns Snatch Late Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Gold Beach Sea Unicorns and Eugene Emeralds.

The Eugene Emeralds got a superb performance from pitcher Noah Myers. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Gold Beach. The Sea Unicorns won the game, 8-2. Myers threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. The Sea Unicorns now own a record of 6-14.

Gold Beach took a 4-2 lead on Aron Michon's 2nd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Michon hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Eugene pitcher Logan Makowski shaking his head.

Michon told a Gold Beach Gazette reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
